Just four days after needing a 2nd-half surge to pull away from Foundation Christian Academy, the Todd County Central boys’ basketball team was in command throughout of the rematch on Tuesday in an 82-38 rout of the visiting Falcons.
The Rebels trailed after the 1st quarter on Friday night, but they got out to a 9-0 lead, with 7 points from Preston Moore, to take control early. Hayden Strader connected on a baseline jumper, followed by layups from Jamison Glass and Nate Reding, and the Rebels were in front 25-8 after one.

Most of the Rebel starters got the 2nd half off, with Strader, Glass, and Will Kearns making the most of their opportunities. They each scored 7 points in the frame and triggered the running clock on the way to a 68-27 advantage.
8th-grader Chaze Huff got hot for the Falcons in the third, knocking down a pair of 3-pointers on the way to 8 points. He added 6 more on two 3s in the fourth, but the Rebels cruised in behind 6 more points from Strader.
