Atkins Wins Pair of Races in the Hoptown Pool

Chase Atkins had a pair of first place finishes to help Hopkinsville finish second in a three-team swim meet Thursday at the Rick Cohn Aquatic Center.

Hopkinsville’s 66 points were second to Henderson County’s 337 points.

RESULTS

Chase Atkins – 1^st in the 200-yard freestyle [2:00.37]; 1^st in the mixed 500-yard free [5:27.17]

Cam Peacock – 2^nd in the mixed 500-yard free [6:37.27]; 2^nd in the 100-yard breaststroke [1:29.88]

Austen Turner – 4^th in the 100-yard free ]1:12.16]; 5^th in the 50-yard freestyle [31.60]
