Hoptown Swims to Meet Win Over Pair of Lady Colonel Squads

With four swimmers claiming first place finishes, Hopkinsville easily won a three-team girls’ swim meet Thursday with Henderson County and Christian County at the Rick Cohn Aquatic Center.

Hoptown scored 424 points to outdistance both Henderson County [211] and Christian County [39].

RESULTS

Ella Falco – 1st in the 200-yard freestyle [2:11.02]; 1st in the 100-yard free [59.17]

Elizabeth Langhi – 1st in the 200-yard IM [2:29.93]; 1st in the 100-yard fly [1:09.59]

Riley Robinson – 1st in the 100-yard breaststroke [1:17.33]; 2nd in the 50-yard freestyle [29.64]

Caroline Payne – 1st in the 100-yard backstroke [1:29.72]; 3rd in the 200-yard freestyle [2:43.35]

Ashton Grace – 2nd in the 200-yard IM [3:03.42]; 2nd in the 100-yard fly [1:29.31]

Savannah Hutson – 2nd in the 100-yard backstroke [1:38.46]; 8th in the 10-yard free [1:28.19]

Addison Grise – 2nd in the 200-yard freestyle [2:29.51]; 3rd in the mixed 500-yard free [6:37.82]

Grace Cansler – 2nd in the 100-yard breaststroke [1:26.77]; 7th in the 50-yard freestyle [31.90]

Eliza Renshaw – 3rd in the 100-yard fly [1:38.01]; 8th in the 50-yard freestyle [33.25]

Livie Jorgensen – 4th in the 50-yard freestyle [29.98]; 4th in the 100-yard free [1:09.20]

 

The 200-yard free relay team of Elizabeth Langhi, Livie Jorgensen, Riley Robinson, and Ella Falco finished in 1st place in 1:55.19. They also won the 400-yard free relay in 4:15.90.

The 200-yard medley relay team of Caroline Payne, Grace Cansler, Ashton Grace, and Eliza Renshaw finished second in 2:23.61. The same team took third in the 200-yard free relay.
