Union County continued its dominance in the 1st Region Wrestling Tournament on Saturday.
Wrestling in their home gym, the Braves claimed seven individual championships while rolling to their 18th straight team title.
Union won with 275 points. Paducah Tilghman was second with 215 and Christian County took third with 183.
The Braves’ seven individual titles were Jordyn Raney at 106, Trayce Eckman at 120, Payne Carr at 152, Quinten Cox at 160, Dalton Russelburg at 170, Stephen Little at 182 and Darius Moore at 220.
Two others were region runners-up — Hunter Jenkins at 113 and Paxton Ervin at 195.
In all, 13 Union wrestlers have advanced to semi-state competition next Saturday at Owensboro Apollo.
