Justice Dingle
Kentucky is scheduled to start spring football practice Tuesday and one of many players who can’t wait to get started is Georgia Tech transfer Justice Dingle. One reason Dingle, a Bowling Green High School product, is excited to be back in the Bluegrass is the opportunity to learn from Kentucky defensive coordinator Brad White while transitioning back to his normal linebacker spot instead of playing on the defensive line like he did his last season at Tech.
“He is focusing on my technique and teaching me the playbook,” Dingle said. “He (White) is very intelligent and has a lot of knowledge about football.”
White is a former NFL assistant coach who has made a big impression on Dingle during his two months on the UK campus.
“The little bit of time I have been here I have learned so much,” Dingle said. “It’s going to take me studying long hours (to learn everything) and I feel like I can handle it.”
He says the move back to outside linebacker, his natural position, will not be that hard. It’s also a position where UK is not overloaded with depth.
“I just feel like I fit better (at outside linebacker). I always played it in high school. It’s my favorite position and I am more comfortable playing that position,” Dingle said.
