Caldwell County eighth grader Collin Whittington beat the buzzer at the end of the first and second quarters during the Tigers’ win over Hopkins County Central on Monday.
Whittington buried a 3-pointer in transition at the end of the first period, then scored with just seconds remaining in the second quarter to help Caldwell pick up a 62-40 victory.
Caldwell advances to face Madisonville-North Hopkins in Tuesday’s 7th District championship game.
