Todd County Central baseball player Ethan Bicksler got his college commitment out of the way ahead of his senior season on Wednesday, signing with Midway University in a ceremony at the school.
Midway is an NAIA school in Midway, Kentucky that competes in the River States Conference. The Eagles were 7-16 during the 2019-20 season before it ended due to COVID. They’re off to a 6-6 start this season, including a 5-0 mark in conference play.
Bicksler hit .242 as a sophomore and didn’t make an error in 74 chances as the Rebels finished 5-11 overall. After the season, he was invited to play in the Bowling Green Hot Rod Showcase that pitted 4th Region players against their 3rd Region counterparts.
