Aaron Munger saved his best for last, and that culminated with the Madisonville senior signing to his golfing career at Brescia University Thursday.

Munger capped a senior golf season with a second-place finish at the region tournament and earned All-Region honors.  He tied for sixth place at the Marshall County Invitational and had eighth-place finishes at the Daviess County and Hopkins County Central Invitationals during the year.

Munger was also named Bluegrass Tour All-Star honorable mention, a recognition program developed by the Bluegrass Golf Foundation.

Munger is the latest western Kentucky golfer to join the Brescia program. The Bearcats have added Logan County’s Elijah Forbes and Webster County’s Grant Puckett in this year’s class after signing University Heights Academy’s Weston Wood and Hopkins County Central’s Trae Barber last year.
