Kaelyn Conger blasts a 2-run home run in the first inning Saturday.
It will come to no one’s surprise that the 2021 edition of the Lyon County Lady Lyons softball team appears ready to pack a punch at the plate. The Lady Lyons went yard three times in six innings of varsity play during Saturday’s scrimmage against Paducah Tilghman, outscoring the Lady Blue Tornado 16-7 on a perfect day to return to the diamond for the first time in nearly two years.

Lyon County would score two more runs in the second, two in the third, and then put up an eight spot in the bottom of the 4th inning.
