The Caldwell County Lady Tigers defeated Lyon County 7-0 in tennis action Tuesday afternoon in Princeton.
Caldwell’s girls took five singles matches and two doubles contests.
In singles play:
Rachel McClung defeated Madison Russell 6-2, 3-6, 10-5;
Josie Shaffer turned back Laney Dalby 8-5;
Keegan Miller topped Abbi Crawford 8-2;
Emma Peake beat Wendy Dong 8-6;
and Avery Ritchey got past Emmy Slayton 8-2.
In doubles:
McClung/Shaffer defeated Katy Ladd/Anna Yanez 6-1, 6-1;
Miller/Peake beat Josie Kaminski/Allie Holt 8-3.
