For the first time in nearly two decades, the search will begin for a new head girls’ soccer coach at Hopkinsville High School. In a social media post Friday, Jeff Addison announced that he was stepping away after 18 years leading the program, and 26 years connected to Lady Tigers’ soccer.
Addison cited a desire to spend more time with his family as the primary reason for his decision.
Addison took over the Hopkinsville girls’ soccer program prior to the 2003 season. He followed Rusty Logan. He won the 3rd District championship in his very first season, before losing to Caldwell County in the region tournament.
He had 12 district championships and three regional championships during his time as Hoptown head coach.
