Calloway County senior Ainsley Smith has committed to Murray State University to continue her cross country and track and field career.
Smith won every race she entered in 2020 through the region tournament. They included invitational wins at Graves, Calloway, and Trigg County.
She set a school record with her run of 19:41 at Trigg County and finished in 11th place at the Class 2A State Meet.
Smith was named the Area 1 Runner of Year by the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association and was named to the Class 2A All-State Cross Country Team.
