Hoptown Places Ninth at Invitational of the South

Hopkinsville’s boys’ track and field team came in ninth place Saturday at the Invitational of the South hosted by Marshall County High School.

Zahnte Brown – 2^nd in the 110-meter hurdles [16.70]; 4^th in the 300-meter hurdles [45.34]

Chance Jones – 4^th in the 800-meters [2:05.87]

Ross Binkley – 9^th in the 800-meters [2:24.11]

Quinn Miller – 11^th in the 3200-meters [11:57.22]; 14^th in the 1600-meters [5:25.26]

Jonathan Bridges – 15^th in the 3200-meters [13:13.69]

Brunson Boyette – 17^th in the 400-meters [1:02.15]

Tahj Jones – 20^th in the 100 meters [12.46]

Kemaure Mumford – 24^th in the discus throw [73-10]

The 1600-meter relay team finished fourth in 3:51.93
