Four UHA errors led to four unearned runs and helped Bowling Green score a 13-3 baseball win over the Blazers Tuesday.
The Purples scored 11 runs in the first two innings and never looked back in winning its season opener.
Eli Burwash, Patrick Forbes, and Dillon Maners each had two hits for the Purples, and Turner Nottmeier drove in four runs.
UHA scored all three of its runs in the third inning. Luke Welch drew a bases-loaded walk, and Ben Stone followed with a two-run single that scored Ty Hunt and Eston Glover. Stone had two hits in the contest for the Blazers, and Glover had one.
Hunt took the pitching loss for the Blazers, who fell to 1-1, The Blazers will travel to Crittenden County Thursday.
