Hoptown Girls Take Second at Good Friday Meet

The Hopkinsville girls’ track and field team, helped by five first place finishes, finished second at the Good Friday Track Meet hosted by HHS.

Lori Moyd – 1^st in the shot put [28-07.00]; 1^st in the discus throw [79-10.50]

Eva Blankenberger – 2^nd in the 3200-meter run [15:25.56]; 3^rd in the 1600-meter run [6:58.74]

Tara Ladd – 2^nd in the 100-meter dash [14.20]; 3^rd in the 200-meter dash [29.45]

Annirah Settles – 3^rd in the 400-meter dash [1:12.91]; 5^th in the 200-meter dash [30.71]; 6^th in the 100-meter dash [14.99]

Alexandria Williams – 3^rd in the shot put [26-07]; 3^rd in the discus throw [61-09]

Jayla Tucker – 4^th in the 400-meter dash [1:14.09]

Rebecca Wood – 6^th in the 800-meter run [3:17.32]

The 400-meter relay team of Jakayla Epps, Tara Ladd, Dashiya Radford, and Annirah Settles won with a time of 56.62.

The 1600-meter relay team of Jayla Tucker, Tara Ladd, Dashiya Radford, and Annirah Settles finished second with a time of 5:10.88.

The 3200-meter relay team of Eva Blankenberger, Hailey Cordero, Emily Bridges, and Jessie Creamer finished second in 13:40.03.
