Caldwell County’s guys took eight of nine matches to pick up a big win at Henderson County in tennis action on Monday.
The Tigers dropped only one singles match.
In singles competition:
Jordan Hammett defeated Issac Holland 6-3, 6-0;
Ryan Hammett bested Mason Bridgeman 6-4, 6-0;
Billy Wallace was defeated by Thomas Berger 8-3;
Nick Adams turned back Brayden Dohm 8-3;
Grayden Miller beat Landon Hurtte 8-2;
and Bryce Thompson handled Carson Weiss 8-5.
In doubles:
The Hammetts defeated Holland and Bridgeman 6-2, 6-2;
Wallace/Adams edged Berger/Dohm 9-8 (10-4);
and Miller/Thompson beat Hurtte/Weiss 8-4.
Caldwell visits Webster County on Tuesday.
