Webster County’s girls pulled out a 3-2 victory over Caldwell County in tennis action Tuesday in Dixon.
For Caldwell, Rachel McClung won in singles action 3-6, 6-2, 10-3 over Allison Meisel, and Keegan Miller won her singles match against Maggie White 8-1.
But Caldwell’s girls dropped the other singles match and both doubles matches at Webster County.
Josie Shaffer fell to Emily Kuykendall 8-6 in singles play.
In doubles, Miller and Shaffer lost to Abbie Michalek and Hannah Corbin 8-3 while Alexis Ritchey and Emma Peake fell to Sara Welshans and Allie Newman by the same 8-3 score.
Caldwell’s tennis squads are scheduled to play at home on Thursday against Hopkinsville.
