A Crittenden County Rocket has announced his decision to stay in-state to continue his basketball and educational career at the collegiate level. In a social media post Wednesday afternoon, Gabe Mott announced he would be attending Centre College in Danville.
During his senior season as a Rocket, Mott helped lead the Rockets to a 13-10 record and runner-up in the 5th District. The Rockets would lose a one-point decision at University Heights in the opening round of the 2nd Region tournament.
Mott averaged 16.0 points per game and pulled down 3.3 rebounds. He shot 50-percent from the field and connected on 27 3-pointers for the season.
His junior year, Mott averaged 16.0 points per contest, with 3.5 rebounds a game, as the Rockets finished the year at 16-17, losing to Christian County in the opening round of the 2nd Region tournament.
