Despite a huge game from Jase Polley, Union fell to Kentucky Christian 49-35 in the season finale for the Bulldogs.
The Christian County alum and Union sophomore recorded a season-high 11 tackles on defense and intercepted two passes. He returned one of the picks 23 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter to bring the Bulldogs to within seven points.
Polley also shined on special teams, blocking a PAT and punting twice for an average of 35 yards a boot.
Union finished its football season with a record of 1-6. Polley finished as the team’s third-leading tackler and was second in interceptions.
