On a perfect afternoon for high school tennis, the University Heights Academy boys’ tennis team hosted Lyon County at Ruff Park. The Blazers took the win with a 5-2 team score.
UHA won four of the five boys’ singles matches and split the two doubles matches. The match of the afternoon turned out to be the doubles match between UHA’s Jiles Wyatt/Rudra Patel and Lyon County’s Jackson Crawford/Mason Byassee. The match was tied 12-12 with Crawford and Byassee winning the tiebreaker 9-7.
