Caldwell County sophomore Claire Knoth finished second Sunday in the Emma Talley Girls Tradition presented by Kentucky PGA Junior Tour.
Knoth played in the Futures National Division at the Bowling Green Country Club. She shot a two-day score of 14-over to finish nine shots behind Reagan Ramage of Burlington.
Knoth shot an 8-over 8- Saturday and followed with a 6-over 78 Sunday. South Warren eighth-grader Sydney McClanahan was third at 15-over.
Madisonville junior Katherine Weir improved nine shots Sunday to finish tied for fifth place at 21-over. Weir’s Sunday round included two birdies.
Calloway County freshman Javen Campbell finished tied for 14th place, and Marshall County sophomore Elsie Riley finished in 17th place.
The par 72 course played at 5,264 yards for the Futures National Division.
The tournament is part of the Kentucky PGA Junior Tour and the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour.
