University Heights Academy guard K.J. Crump has decided on the next step in his basketball career, committing to Tusculum University. Crump announced his decision on social media Tuesday afternoon.
Crump led the Blazers in scoring at 17.2 points a game and helped UHA reach the Sweet 16 twice in the past four seasons. UHA was 15-10 during the 2020-21 season before losing to Bowling Green in the first round of the Sweet 16.
An All-District and All-Region guard, Crump scored 1,542 points in the UHA career.
Tusculum is an NCAA Division II in Tusculum, Tennessee school that competes in the South Atlantic Conference. The Pioneers were 14-6 and advanced to the NCAA Division II Southeast Region semifinals.
