Trigg County won for the second time in two days with a 16-0 win at Christian Fellowship Tuesday. Trigg improved to 4-0 all-time against CFS in softball with the win.
The Lady Wildcats only scored in two innings, plating five runs in the first inning and 11 runs in the fifth.
Makenna Hendricks had two hits and two RBIs for Trigg County, and four other players had singles. Trigg batters were walked eight times and were hit by a pitch four times. The Lady Wildcats also stole a season-high 12 bases.
In addition to Hendricks, Lillie Cortner and Kiley Slone each had two RBIs.
Eighth-grader Avery Wade picked up her first career win in the circle for the Lady Wildcats. She allowed two hits in five innings and struck out five while walking just two.
Trigg County [3-5] will host Livingston Central Thursday at the Complex.
