No. 9-ranked McCracken County won its ninth straight game on Monday, defeating the Caldwell County Lady Tigers 10-0 in five innings in softball action at the Ratliff Park Complex in Princeton.
The Lady Mustangs pushed their mark to 14-2 while Caldwell is now 5-7.
A five-run second inning was the big inning for McCracken, extending its lead to 8-0.
For the Lady Mustangs, Abigayle Duran pitched the shutout.
K.G. Walker was 3-for-3 with a homer and two runs batted in. Ariel Fox had a home run while going 3-for-4 and driving in two. Allie White also homered and was 1-for-3 with two RBIs. Ally Hutchins was 3-for-4 with a double, a triple and two runs batted in.
The Lady Tigers were held to just three singles in the contest. Presley McKinney was 2-for-2 while Majah Hollowell was 1-for-2.
Caldwell is 1-2 all-time against the Paducah school.
The Lady Tigers will host 7th District foe Madisonville-North Hopkins on Tuesday.
