Caldwell County’s girls captured six of seven matches from Lyon County in tennis action Tuesday in Princeton.
The Lady Tigers claimed four of the five singles matches played and swept both doubles contests.
In singles results:
Rachel McClung defeated Madison Russell 8-3;
Josie Shaffer beat Wendy Dong 8-2;
Keegan Miller topped Zoe Board 8-2;
Emma Peake fell to Abbi Crawford 8-1;
Avery Ritchey turned back Katy Ladd 8-5.
In doubles:
McClung/Miller edged Russell/Landy Dalby 6-3, 7-5;
Shaffer/Ritchey got past Emma Slaton/Allie Holt 8-2.
Caldwell County will play at home again on Thursday when it hosts Webster County.
Lyon County’s teams will host Union County on Thursday.
