North Hardin Christian scored nine runs in the final three innings to hand Heritage Christian Academy an 11-8 loss Friday in Hopkinsville.
North Hardin was ranked No. 4 in the latest KCAA Softball Power Poll while HCA came in ranked No. 5.
HCA plated a pair of runs in the first inning with North Hardin countering with single runs in the first and third innings.
The Lady Warriors took a 4-2 lead in the fourth inning on a two-run single by Gracey Bufford.
North Hardin struck for four runs in the fifth inning, aided by three HCA errors.
HCA scored in each of the final four innings and had the tying run on deck when the game ended.
Emily Dilday had three hits for HCA and drove in a pair of runs. Hadlee Hayes also had two hits and scored two runs.
Heritage Christian Academy returns to action Monday at home against AIE.
