Fort Campbell freshman Amari Waddy set a personal record with a jump of 5-08 at the Hopkinsville Invitational at the Stadium of Champions on Saturday, earning 2nd place in the High Jump behind Muhlenberg County’s Carson Groves.
Afterward, Waddy credited his coach’s suggestion to increase his approach speed as the biggest reason for his strong performance.
