Xazvion West threw what is believed to be a school record in the shot put Saturday to help Todd County Central to a ninth place finish at the Hopkinsville Track and Field Invitational.
West’s heave of 42-feet, 7.5 inches bettered Javon Byars’ toss of 40-feet, 3.5 inches in 2015. West also finished second in the discus throw.
