Lady Blazers Outscore CFS Again

For the second time this season, the University Heights Academy Lady Blazers out-slugged Christian Fellowship. Friday night, the Lady Blazers went on the road and came home with a 16-12 win over the Lady Eagles.

Back on April 16, the Lady Blazers picked up a 19-16 win.

This time around, the Lady Blazers used big innings in the fourth and fifth innings to secure the win. UHA scored seven runs in the fourth and five more in the fifth.

The Lady Blazers scored their 16 runs on a total of 14 hits, while CFS scored their 12 runs on 15 hits.

Regan Pollard had a big night at the plate for UHA, finishing 3-5 with a triple, four RBIs, and four runs scored. Krista Keller finished 2-5 with three runs scored. Jaila Batey was 3-5 with a pair of triples, two RBIs, and three runs scored.

The win lifts UHA to 4-5 for the year. The Lady Blazers are set to return to action Tuesday at Christian County.
