
After announcing his intentions back in April, University Heights Academy senior K.J. Crump made it official Friday afternoon. Crump signed his papers to continue his basketball career at Tusculum University.
Crump led the Blazers in scoring at 17.2 points a game this season and helped UHA reach the Sweet 16 twice in the past four seasons. An All-District and All-Region guard, Crump scored 1,542 points in his UHA career.
Tusculum is an NCAA Division II in Tusculum, Tennessee school that competes in the South Atlantic Conference. The Pioneers were 14-6 and advanced to the NCAA Division II Southeast Region semifinals.
Crump spoke to those in attendance and then to YSE about his big day.
