Caldwell County’s guys dropped both of their matches in the sectional tennis tournament in Paducah.
The Tigers were edged by Webster County 3-2 Friday night.
In that match, Ryan Hammett won at No. 1 singles 6-1, 6-1.
Jordan Hammett and Grayden Miller teamed up for a doubles win 6-0, 6-0.
But Billy Wallace and Bryce Thompson dropped narrow decisions in singles action while Nick Adams and Cannon Littlejohn fell in doubles competition.
On Saturday, Caldwell’s guys lost to McCracken County 4-1.
Jordan Hammett and Ryan Hammett played doubles in that match and picked up a 6-3, 7-6 (10-8) victory.
However, Wallace and Miller fell in the other doubles match.
In singles, Adams, Thompson and Littlejohn suffered setbacks.
