Caldwell County’s guys won four of six singles matches and swept three doubles contests to defeat University Heights Academy 7-2 in makeup tennis action on Monday.
Caldwell’s singles wins saw Jordan Hammett defeat Ethan Alexander 8-3, Ryan Hammett beat Shayan Khan 8-2, Nick Adams turn back Zohaib Igbal 8-5 and Bryce Thompson best Jiles Wyatt 8-3.
For UHA, Will Bryan topped Billy Wallace 8-3 and Riley Simmons knocked off Grayden Miller 8-5.
In doubles:
Jordan and Ryan Hammett defeated Khan and Igbal 6-0, 6-0; Wallace and Miller handled Wyatt and Rudra Patel 8-1; and Adams and Thompson beat Matthew Couch and Nicolas Fantinni 8-2.
Caldwell will host Webster County for a makeup match on Tuesday.
