Caldwell County senior Tate VanHooser had three base hits and gave up just three base hits as the Tigers knocked off Hopkins County Central 12-2 on Monday in Princeton.
Caldwell had dropped three straight games prior to the victory.
But VanHooser went 3-for-3 at the plate against the Storm and tossed a three-hitter on the mound.
