Former Christian County forward Alexus Hendrix put pen to paper on Wednesday to pledge her athletic and academic future to Wabash Valley College in a ceremony at the school.
Hendrix was a part of 22 wins over her Lady Colonel soccer career, scoring a total of 16 goals and contributing 7 assists. She tallied a career-high 6 goals and 3 assists as a junior before bagging 5 goals as a senior.
Her freshman season will be the third for the Wabash Valley girls’ soccer team after a 2-6-1 record last year. The Warriors play in the National Junior College Athletic Association.
After making her choice official, Hendrix talked about what drew her to Wabash Valley.
