After capturing a Region runner-up as a junior, Christian County’s Ty-Darius Kelly wrestled his way to region and semi-state titles as a senior before finishing 3rd at state at 285 lbs. On Wednesday, Kelly revealed where he’ll continue his academic and athletic careers, signing with King University.
King is an NCAA D2 school in Bristol, TN that competes in the Conference Carolinas. The Tornado was 5-4 last season, finishing 9th in the NCAA D2 Super Region Championships and 29th at the National Championships.
After making his choice official, Kelly talked about what led him to choose King University.
