Madisonville-North Hopkins will have two of the top four seeds, including the overall top seed as the boys’ regional tennis tournament gets underway Monday. This year’s event is being hosted by Henderson County.
The top seeds for the tournament, as selected by the coaches are:
#1 seed – Josh Plain – Madisonville
#2 seed – Andrew Haughenbury – Fort Campbell
#3 seed – Ethan Alexander – University Heights
#4 seed – Nathan Crick – Madisonville
Plain will play his first match in the second round when he takes on the winner of the match between Collin Calhoun, of Lyon County, and Nate Matlock, of Christian County.
Haughenbury will start play in the first round against Jerry Foster, of Christian County.
Ethan Alexander will have his first match in the opening round when he takes on Ryan Rivera, of Fort Campbell.
Crick opens play in the first round as he will play Isaac Holland, of Henderson County.
Boys’ regional tennis play begins Monday on the courts at Henderson County High School.
