
Emma Talley not only made the cut at the LPGA’s Pure Silk Championship, but was in a tie for 14th place entering Saturday’s third round action at the River Course at Kingsmill Resort.
After a 71 and a 69 on Thursday and Friday, Talley shot rounds of 76 and 74 on Saturday and Sunday to finish the event in a tie for 74th place at 6-over par overall.
That earned her $2,362 in the Williamsburg, Virginia, tournament.
Taiwan’s Wei-Ling Hsu won the Pure Silk Championship with a 13-under-par total and pocketed $195,000.
Talley will play in the U.S. Women’s Open June 3-6 in San Francisco.
