Christian County junior Anna Maddux drew a tough opener of the Region 2 Tennis Tournament Monday, falling to top seed Victoria Lopez Rodriguez of Fort Campbell in straight sets.
The Fort Campbell junior won 6-0, 6-0, however, Maddux continually won points but couldn’t piece enough of them together to claim a point.
Maddux was Christian County’s lone player to compete at region Monday.
