Sophomore Jerry Foster was the lone Christian County boys’ representative at the 2nd Region tennis tournament in Henderson County on Monday.
Junior Nate Matlock was scheduled to be included but lost by default in his first-round match.
Foster couldn’t cause any problems for 2nd seed Andrew Haughenbury of Fort Campbell, falling 0-6, 0-6. Haughenbury would go on to book his place in the semifinals on Tuesday with a quarterfinal victory over UHA’s Will Bryan.
