With Caldwell County down 2-0 to Dawson Springs going to the third inning of Monday’s 7th District semifinal contest, Tate VanHooser knew it was time for the seniors to take the lead for the Tigers.
VanHooser went on to finish 4-for-6 at the plate with nine RBIs and a grand slam. He also hit for the cycle in Caldwell’s 17-7 victory.
