After a runner-up finish in the 2nd Region tennis tournament, Fort Campbell junior Andrew Haughenbury made his way to the Top Seed Tennis Club in Lexington on Tuesday for the KHSAA state tournament.
Despite a win in the opening set against Community Christian’s Addicus Hughes, a finger injury slowed Haughenbury the rest of the way in a tiebreaker loss.
Afterward, he talked about his match and his plans on improving on that performance next season.
