With the bases loaded and one out in the bottom of the eighth inning, Mikayla Baize drove a pitch back up the middle for a base hit to knock in the winning run as Madsionville-North Hopkins edged Caldwell County 2-1 in the 7th District championship game on Thursday.
Amber Osborne had tripled with one out and came in to the score the winning run for the Lady Maroons.
