Marshall County’s Trinity Beth won the Kentucky Girls’ Junior PGA Championship Thursday in Richmond and has qualified for the National Girls’ Junior PGA Championship next month.
Beth finished the 36-hole event at 1-under par, claiming a two-shot win over Claira Beth Ramsey.
She braved the rainy conditions Wednesday to shoot 1-under with three birdies on her scorecard. On Thursday, she carded an even-par 72.
Her teammate at Marshall County High School, Savannah Howell, tied for fourth place at 4-over par. She shot a pair of two-over 74s each day.
