Brady Darnall gave Lyon County the lead in Sunday’s regional semifinal against Hopkinsville, knocking in Christian O’Daniel from third with a single to left in the bottom of the fourth inning.
The Lyons went on to beat Hoptown 4-2 and advance to Monday’s 2nd Region championship contest.
Darnall finished the semifinal contest 3-for-3 with a double.
