Lyon County’s Aidan Rush broke the ice in the 2nd Region championship game on Monday.
Rush doubled home a run to put the Lyons up 1-0 in the third inning – and the Lyons went on to score five times in the frame on the way to a 6-0 win over Henderson County.
The Lyons will next face Owensboro Catholic this Saturday in semi-state action in Bowling Green.
