The University Heights Academy Lady Blazers had a pair of relay teams reach the podium at the Class 1A State Track and Field Meet Thursday at the University of Kentucky.
The 800-meter team of Audrey Grise, Piper Hancock, Aliviah Acree, and Evelyn Morales finished sixth in a season-best time of 1:52.96, just over two seconds behind state champion Bishop Brossart.
The same squad finished sixth in the 1600-meter relay with a time of 4:22.47 despite running in the second heat.
