Dawson Springs Hurdlers Finish Inside Top 20 at State Meet

Dawson Springs had a pair of hurdlers finish in the top 20 at the Class 1A State Track and Field Meet Thursday in Lexington.

Junior Skye Bratcher was 18^th in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 54.87 seconds.  She set the school record in the event at the region meet last week in a time of 53.50.

Senior Landon Pace finished 11^th in the 300-meter hurdles in 43.73 seconds., just missing the school record of 43.55 set by Tyler Weir at the state meet two years ago.

Pace also competed in the high jump but did not place.

Brylee Spurlin also represented Dawson Springs at the state meet in the high jump.
