
Three Henderson pitchers combined on a three-hit shutout as the Flash blanked the Hoptown Hoppers 10-0 in Ohio Valley League action Thursday night in Henderson.
Tyler Cruse struck out three and allowed three base hits in five innings. He got relief help from Colby Knutzen and Tyler Schultz, who did not allow a hit over three innings. Knutzen struck out three in two innings while Schultz fanned two in one inning of work.
Jacob Mulcahy was 1-for-4 and knocked in three runs for Henderson, which put up two runs in each of the third and fifth innings before putting the game away with a six-run eighth inning.
Riley Garczynski, Tanner Holliman and Alex Gonzalez each singled for the Hoppers.
Hoptown had beaten Henderson 5-2 in action Wednesday night in Hopkinsville.
The Hoppers hit the road again on Friday when they visit the Franklin Duelers.
