Princeton native Jake Lewis picked up another win on the MotoAmerica racing circuit over the weekend, capturing first place on Saturday in the Stock 1000 competition at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
Lewis, who is racing this season for Altus Motorsports, grabbed the lead from Geoff May on the fourth of six laps and rode his Suzuki across the finish line 1.378 seconds ahead of May in the lone Stock 1000 race of the weekend.
Lewis raced in the Superbike competition on Sunday and placed eighth.
Last month in Virginia, Lewis won one Stock 1000 race and placed second in another.
Next up on the MotoAmerica schedule is the Komatsu MotoAmerican Superbikes at the Ridge at Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, Washington, June 25-27.
