Lyon County senior Travis Yancy drove home the first two runs of the game for the Lyons in Friday night’s matchup against No. 1-ranked Louisville Trinity in the state semifinals in Lexington.
After falling behind 6-0 in the fifth, Lyon came back with three runs in the bottom of that frame, but the Shamrocks went on to claim a 10-3 decision.
That ended Lyon’s longest postseason run ever.
Yancy’s two-run single earned him this Max’s Moment.
